Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 8 years or more of equivalent experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of Contractor staff. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Oregon law requires anyone who works for compensation in an construction activity involving improvement to real property to be licensed with this state agency. In addition to licensing, the other agency programs include enforcement, dispute resolution, education and business services. The agency requires a business analysis to assist with evaluating a move from a "home-grown" licensing program to a commercial software program (SaaS). The agency currently has a business analysis that is 3/4 complete. The agency is seeking a business systems analyst who can complete the analysis.

The working conditions include an open cubicle environment, low to mid noise level, secure physical access and approximately 40 employees on site. The final candidate will provide their own laptop/computer, software, office supplies and email address to be used to communicate with agency staff. The agency seeks a dynamic analyst with excellent communication skills to include presenting findings to agency leadership.
