Need Sr. Technical Program Manager Overview (PMO)-Cloud Operations

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Duration: Contract to hire

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage strategic projects for Cloud Operations

• Lead cross functional teams consisting of team members within Operations (Production Operations, Sysadmin, DBA, Network Administrators, Tools) and beyond Operations (Support, Development, QA, Product Management, Legal)

• Translate a high-level organizational objective to an executable project

• Lead a project from initiation to completion

• Provide upper management and stakeholders with timely status updates

• Manage and control changes to a project by working with stakeholders

• Identify the critical path of a project to assess and mitigate risks for meeting the project timeline.

• Work with Development & Product Management on upcoming release & feature planning to align Operations projects

• Represent Operations for coordination with Engineering program management

• Run a weekly Operations project meeting to go over all strategic projects

• Maintain Operations dashboard to track various organizational metrics for Operations in addition to project status

• Work with the security team for security audit and certification

• Create and maintain tools to track organizational metrics or enhance team productivity as needed

• Mentor and coach Operations engineers on project management

• Foster a work environment for team members to grow and keep morale high
