Title: Build and Automation Engineer
Location: Southborough, MA
Duration: 6+ Months - Contract
Experience: Minimum Years’ experience: 8-10 years – is a MUST

Passport Copy / Number & I-94 copy mandatory. H1B and DL copies (mandatory).

An Ideal Candidate must have:
• 3-5 years of build/release and configuration management
• Experience in building Java Spring based applications
• Experience in building C++ and C# based applications
• Experience in deploying and configuring Cloud based platforms
• Experience in deploying and configuring in web-based applications using IIS
• Proficient with build automation, orchestration and dependency management tools such as Maven, Ant, Nexus, Jenkins and NuGet
• Proficient with source code management systems (GIT, bitbucket, SVN)
• Continuous Integration (CI) tools
• Work directly with agile Application Development to provide daily support aligned with a model of planned releases
• Working knowledge of relational database management system
• Strong background in Linux/Unix platforms – Redhat, Suse
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with Azure and AWS is required)
• Experience in Java development using Spring framework
• Experience in developing Java micro services
• Experience in consuming REST APIs
• Experience with SQL caching technologies like Redis
• Experience in scripting (PHP, Python, Perl and/or Ruby)
• Experience with Java Application servers such as Tomcat, Jboss
• Experience in using Docker
• Highly desirable exposure to Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) platform

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the build process for multiple concurrent releases
• Automate build and deployment process through build system
• Maintain various software feature branches using a Source Control System
• Design and configure continuous integration build system through collaboration with development and IT teams
• Participate in deployment & configuration of the application as needed
• Assist the Software Operations Team with deployment responsibilities
• Responsible for authoring and building Docker based containers
• Design and specify test procedures including unit, system, and integration testing
• Continually strive for technical excellence
• Be an agile development team member, responsible for collaborating with the team on release planning, sprint planning and scoping
