Business Analyst

Candidates will need to live in Austin, and be available to travel 4-5 days every other week. We need mid to senior level BA's (Sr. Consultant – Manager).

Title: Business Analyst (Only Local Candidates)

Location: Austin, TX

Duration: 6+ Months - Contract

Experience: Minimum Years’ experience: 8 - 11+ Years – is a MUST

Passport Copy / Number & I-94 copy mandatory. H1B and DL copies (mandatory).

Roles & Responsibilities of BUSINESS ANALYST:

• Participates in product definition and prioritization by working with various Internal/external stakeholders

• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to capture and document product feature requirements, develop user stones, success criteria/conditions of acceptance, test scenarios

• Work with Product Owners to demo completed features and solicit feedback from stakeholders

• Up to 50% travel is expected for this role (4-5 days out of town every other week)

Qualifications (Must-Haves In Bold)

• 5+ was of professional eperience building diStributed, salable enterPrise-class applicattiOnS and product using at/.NET, SOLID principals and 00Design

• Detail-oriented with ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple soundu, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-lever inforrnabon to a more general undestaixtre distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements.

• Ability to organize and understand information gathered during requirements analysis, demonstrate fleabikty with changing business priorities, negotiate priorities and resolve conflicts among representatives from various interests; worts independently in a fast-paced environment to consistently meet deadlines

• Ability to represent requirements in graphical forms that clarify and augment written requirements

• 4-Year College Degree

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline

• Experience building applications using web technologies (ASP.Net, MVC, web services, and cloud-platform development)

• Hands-on experience with Atlasslan toolset (lira, Confluence)

• Experience with commercial product development

• Ability to clearly enunciate current Industry trends, technology innovation, and best practices

• Direct experience in Criminal Justice, US Public Sector domain

• The Business Analyst helps maintain feature backlog and life cycle of features from inception to completion

• Assists with risk, change and dependency management.

• Delivers business requirements via artifacts such as epics, features, stories, acceptance criteria, wireframe diagrams, interaction diagrams, mockups/demos, etc. Assists with developing/ clarifying the business case and prioritization of features and enhancements.

• Authors, manages and prioritizes User Requirements sets, User level requirements, requirements models.

• Grooms and prioritizes User Story backlog
