Need Project Manager

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration: 8 Months

Required Skills/Experience:

1.5+ years project management experience effectively managing information technology projects from requirements gathering to close-out phases. Project experience must include new development, installation and configuration and large scale internal/external customers. Experience must also include enterprise-wide projects, not only individual business units or single functional areas.

2.5+ years project management experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Experience must include projects comprised of weak matrix team members who did not report directly to the PM

3.5+ years’ experience using an established project management methodology and software development lifecycle including managing IT software development

4.5+ years of work experience demonstrating strong problem solving skills.

5.2+ years of work experience with managing schedules in Oracle Primavera

6.Well-developed communication skills – oral, written, listening. Good analytical and negotiation skills, and close attention to detail.

7.Must have excellent leadership, interpersonal, and motivation skills.

8.Working knowledge of PMBOK and PMI principles.

9.Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

10.Experience in waterfall, hybrid, and Agile/Scrum based projects

11.BA/BS degree with major in Business or Computer Science or 10+ year’s comparable business experience.

12.Project management experience in the public/private sector dealing with managing vendors, contracts, and invoicing.

13.PMP Certification (Certification verification must be maintained by vendor and provided at interview)
