The Cable Management team in the Network Product Suite provides telecommunications distribution system design and installation support for major remodeling and new construction projects for all State Farm facilities including Operation Centers, Hub Locations, Large and Small Offices (i.e., Claims Litigation Counsel), and Agent Offices.  Enterprise Support Responsibilities include:

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Technical Skills Needed:
Design
• Copper and Fiber Backbone and Horizontal Cabling Systems
• Indoor and Outdoor Cabling

Bid Documents:
• Cost Estimates
• Technical Specifications
• Project drawings
• Computer experience with Microsoft Visio, Word & Excel  

Project Management:
• Project Installation Oversight
• Building and Cabling Inspections
• Support Fluke Network equipment used to test and certify telecommunications cabling
• Employee Training for the installation and maintenance of enterprise telecommunications cabling
• Work with business partners to develop and maintain cable management standards
• 3rd level problem management support 
• Strategic direction
• Research New and Developing technologies
• This position will require travel

Desired skills and experience: 
• Understanding of the CommScope/SYSTIMAX product lines, design and installation requirements, and the SYSTIMAX SCS Product and Application Assurance Warranty
• Knowledge of Security and A/V Systems
• Experience with locating underground utilities 
• Understanding of and experience with Architectural Drawings and the Building Process
• Experience with CAD 

Desired but not required:
• BICSI RCDD Certification

CommScope Systimax Certification including but not limited to the following courses:
• ND3361 - Systimax Installation and Maintenance
• SP3321 - Systimax SCS Design and Engineering
