Need ASP.Net Application Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration: 12+ Months

Experience: 8+ Years

The Department of Early Care and Learning is looking for an Application Developer in the ASP.NET environment.

This individual will be responsible for the design, development, unit testing, system testing and support of new .Net web applications, as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications. Candidate will also be required to assist in troubleshooting application or database issues with existing applications.

• Experience with the full software development life cycle including design, testing, deployment, documentation and support activities

• Outstanding communication skills

• Good command of English syntax, grammar, punctuation, and spelling

• Good attention to detail

• Self-motivated and willing to “do whatever it takes” to get the job done

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, Team Foundation Server, and Entity Framework

• Experience with front end UI design including CSS, HTML, JQuery, and Javascript

• Minimum 3-5 years using SQL Server 2008 or higher including database modeling and design, stored procedures, functions, views, and queries

• Must have an associate degree or higher

• Must have 2 or more years of development experience in a corporate and/or government environment

• Must be able to provide accurate software development time estimates for system functionality

Preferred Skills:

• Report writing using SSRS

• Responsive Web Design

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver)

• Browser testing knowledge - IE8, IE9, IE10, IE11, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari
