Development software for data ingestion to Hive

Develop and recommend approaches to solving business and technical problem

Responsible for development using Java, Scala, Python (can be flexible between Java & Python) language and Big Data Frameworks, Spark Streaming, EMR, S3, Data pipeline, Lambda for M&D and Grid project

Full stack software development, coding using either Java or Angular JS

Reviewing, analyzing and evaluating market requirements, business requirements and project briefs to design the most appropriate end-to-end technology solutions

Integrating with external data sources and APIs

Working with a wide variety of automated testing frameworks including: Java, Junit, Protractor, Cucumber, etc. (One unit testing framework knowledge will be more than enough)

Designing, building, and delivering apps following best practices

Using Hadoop and related tools to manage the analysis of turbine data

Create, execute, and maintain scripts and tools for various testing frameworks (e.g. regression testing scripts)

Support CI/CD process from team perspective as required (Code deployment knowledge with existing pipeline will be enough, will not ask the person to create CI/CD pipeline)

Desire to interact with many different software development teams to develop, test, deploy, report on product performance, quality, security, and stability

Experience with agile methodology for software development

Communicate within scrum team to facilitate effective delivery of work scope.
