Responsibilities:
Network Security Engineer with 7+ years of experience with Palo Alto and Cisco security hardware, including
• Patching
• upgrading software,
• system and policy changes,
• capacity planning,
• monitoring, and break fix support.
Network Security Engineer with 7+ years of experience with Palo Alto and Cisco security hardware, including
• Patching
• upgrading software,
• system and policy changes,
• capacity planning,
• monitoring, and break fix support.
VPN skills concentrations in
• scoping,
• designing,
• implementing,
• managing, and access control for VPNs.
• Configuration management
• scoping,
• designing,
• implementing,
• managing, and access control for VPNs.
• Configuration management
Configuration management on Cisco and Palo Alto network security equipment.
• Experience with routers, switches, Intrusion Detection and Prevention systems, WAN and LAN links, and web content filtering is required.
• Understanding common network management and transport protocols (the IP protocol suite, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, HSRP) is required.
• 2+ years experience working with LDAP for access control/authentication.
• 2+ years experience working with Identity and Access management tools.
• 2+ years experience working with next-generation firewalls and related technologies
• Experience as team lead or manager, evaluating and training subordinates.
• Cisco CCNP or similar security certifications.
• TLS (SSL) certificate lifecycle management
• Firewall policy review tools (Firemon, Skybox, Algosec, etc.)
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms (LogRhythm, Splunk, Arcsight, AlienVault, etc.)
• Familiarity with endpoint management platforms (Symantec, Cylance, Carbon Black, etc.)
• Additional valued skills may include but are not limited to:
• Experience with Proofpoint email security
• Experience with Cloudpath NAC
• Experience with TACACS and Radius authentication tools.
• Additional vendor and IT Security certifications.
