An Ideal Candidate must have: Cassandra Consultant
Responsibilities:
• Cassandra administration
• Cassandra optimization & scaling
• Resource that has worked with large Cassandra implementations more than 500TB
• Can assist in Tuning and make recommendations around upgrades performance improvements etc.
• Can work with the Cassandra vendor to ensure Configuration and operational processes are in-line with Best practices
• Must be able to work on Export Controlled data and AWS Gov. Cloud
• Identifying the bottle-necks and performance tuning
• Responsible for integrity of the database
• Monitoring performance and managing configuration parameters to provide fast query responses
• Installation and testing of new databases as well as patching of existing live databases
