Need Senior Developer With Both Java and .Net Experience- Scala exp is must

Location: NYC, NY

Duration: 6+ Months

·       Provides senior-level expertise in an initiative to refactor a set of Applications using a Model Driven Development Approach

·       Has 12-15 years of experience working on .Net and Java (combined) and familiar with Design patterns related to Model Driven Development & Functional Programming

·       Has at least 3-4 years of experience in Code Refactoring using Model Driven Development & Functional Programming

·       Provides leadership and guidance to a team on developing solutions that integrate with existing IT systems to satisfy business needs

·       Implements instrumentation for monitoring product health, business metrics, and consumption patterns

·       Thoroughly understands and complies with IT policies and procedures, especially those for quality and productivity standards that enable the team to meet established milestones.

·       Strong in Java software design principles and patterns

·       Very Strong in Scala and Functional Programming – MUST Skill

·       Able to take the Scala Syntax and generate a Spring Boot Application- MUST Skill

·       Strong unit test, cucumber skills

·       Experience with REST Service calls

·       Experience with developing Java REST services – Spring Boot; Microservice architecture

·       Experience with test automation and test driven development practices and frameworks – mutation testing, functional testing (JUnit, Cucumber), mock frameworks (Mockito, etc.), contract testing

·       Familiarity with DevOps concepts, tools and continuous delivery pipelines

·       Experience with API management platforms, design standards, and patterns is a preferred

·       Knowledge of cloud/Azure development/engineering standard methodologies is a plus
